Privacy Policy
PIQO turns a link into a QR code. In short: the app itself collects no personal data and has no backend server. Everything you create stays on your device.
Data stored on your device
- QR history — the links you convert and their style are saved locally on your device only, so you can find them again. They are never uploaded anywhere and never leave your device.
- Settings — theme, language and haptics preferences, stored locally.
You can clear this data at any time from the History screen, or by uninstalling the app.
Advertising
PIQO is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To show ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
- Device advertising identifiers and similar identifiers
- Ad-interaction and app-usage data used for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention
On first launch you are asked for consent (via Google's UMP consent form where required, e.g. in the EEA/UK). You can change your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy & consent. Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Permissions
- Internet / network state — only to request ads.
- Save to photos — only when you tap Save, to write the QR image to your gallery.
Children
PIQO is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
